But this time I didn’t show any interest in watching Kuselan film on first day of release. P. Vasu is the director of this film and G. V Prakash is the music director. In this film Rajini acted as Super Star itself. The story line is very simple and in one word Pasupathy (Rajini’s old friend) tries to visit RajiniKanth (Super Star). Did he succeed in his mission? This is the heart of the story.P. Vasu once again did the blunder with my Super Star. First in Chandramuki, he added many double meaning dialogs and also he showed Rajini very badly in that film. Now in Kuselan, it is even more unbearable. To my point of view, Kuselan is the high range fancy dress competition where there are only two competitors. The competition is between Rajini and Nayantara. Vadivel comedy is little boost to this film. The introduction song is also not up to the mark. Songs are only meant for showcasing RajiniKanth. This film looks like high budget Lollu Sabha in which Jeeva was replaced by RajiniKanth. This is first time in Super Star’s film, where many audiences left the theatre in the middle of the show. I totally disturbed by watching this film. This film will definitely hurt all the die hard fan of Super Star. As a fan of Super Star, I kindly request him to avoid doing such films in future. My sincere request to Mr. P. Vasu, please don’t direct films any more that too with RajiniKanth. The climax of this film which is supposed to be sentimental brings laughter to us. PLUS we didn't know that every time you even have someone look at your credit - say for a loan you might just be considering - it takes your score down a few points. So really you end up sliding down the scale few steps for every 1 forward you take. It's a complete mess if you ask me. "We have decided to hike the fee from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs four lakh for 2008-09," IIMB Director, Pankaj Chandra told reporters after a meeting of the Board presided by its Chairman Mukesh D Ambani.The students who would be going into the second year (2009-10) will have to pay Rs five lakh as fee, he said.Defending the hike, which is higher compared to the other three IIMs, Chandra said increasing infrastructure was one of the reasons for the hike.On the scholarship offered, he said, the amount has been enhanced from Rs 91 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore for 2008-09.To a query on the eligibility criteria for the scholarship, Chandra said "we are looking into the matter".On the selection process for the incoming batch, IIM-B officials said group discussions and personal interviews are already on and will be completed on April four.The selection list will be announced on April 11, they said.Meanwhile, for the first time in the history of IIM-B, the whole PGP (Post Graduate Program) batch, comprising 250 students, have contributed their caution deposit of Rs 9,000 each to "CLASS of 2008 Fund".The main intention of this fund is infrastructure development of the college and contribution towards the social service organisation "IIMB-VIKASANA".

Smith required a career-best rating to grab the coveted spot after starting the series on 753 points and in third place behind Tendulkar and Australia’s Ricky Ponting. The 35-year-old little master from India had stormed to the top of the batting charts following his match-winning performances in the recent tri-series finals against Australia. He had scored 117 not out and 91 in Sydney and Brisbane respectively to push Ponting into second place.

With only 22 ratings points separating top placed Smith from third-placed Ponting, the positions are unlikely to change for another couple of months before Australia goes head-to-head with the West Indies in the five-match ODI staring in Kingston from 21 June.

One in 10 children might have a "working memory" impairment that causes them to do less well than expected at school, research suggests.
A Durham University team identified the problem in 10% of more than 3,000 schoolchildren, across all ages.
They say teachers rarely identify it, tending to label pupils as being unmotivated daydreamers.
Working memory involves such things as remembering verbal instructions, new names or telephone numbers.

As things stand, they say misdiagnosis commonly results in children being labelled as inattentive or lacking in motivation.
Their diagnostic tools have been piloted in 35 schools across the UK and translated into 10 foreign languages.
Lead researcher Dr Tracy Alloway, from Durham's school of education, said: "Working memory is a bit like a mental jotting pad, and how good this is in someone will either ease their path to learning or seriously prevent them from learning.
"From the various large-scale studies we have done, we believe the only way children with poor working memory can go on to achieving academic success is by teaching them how to learn despite their smaller capacity to store information mentally."
A teacher's hunch that something is wrong can be followed up by getting the child to do a computerised assessment.
The team's recommendations for coping with the problem include repetition of instructions, talking in simple, short sentences and breaking down tasks into smaller chunks.
